  1. I wonder how many “terrorist attacks” and “attempted coup d’ etats” turkey will experience in the next three months.

  2. Something’s wrong, I can feel it…

Although he cannot be a candidate in June, it would be better for him to wait as the public polls suggest that support for AKP is increasing.

Hope he doesn’t do anything I am expecting of him to do in his mind.

  3. Yeah, well, you can call them elections, but with half of all Turkish journalists in jail, the media dominated by the state and severely limited freedom of expression, they aren’t really free democratic elections of course.

  4. Would Turkish geopolictical stance be different if someone else than Erdogan is in charge? Turkish hard and soft power has never been stronger since the end of the ottoman times.

A different president/government might change some stuff within Turkey itself but I don’t think the geopolitical stance would be much different.

  5. When all the opposition of your country is teaming up against you, you know you’re fucked up.

I hope turkish people will do the right thing for thier country and vote him out.

  6. I think he will win the presidential race but lose the majority in the parliament . After that Finland and Sweden will have to negotiate NATO membership with Erdogan government then wait for the opposition s approval in the parliament . Considering the fact that opposition will veto everything that comes from Erdogan , it may take years for both Sweden and Finland to join NATO .
