Eurostat: Annual inflation down to 9.2% in the euro area, 10.4% in the EU

  1. i feel so sorry for the europeans, i think i’m going to cry in reality i don’t even live in europe i want to see them chipping away, i think it’s not enough for what they did to africa and to some countries in asia.😅🥰

  2. Just so people are not misled:

    Inflation is measured on Year over Year basis(usually). When its reported that “inflation is 10%” it means that compared to 12 months the price of the inflationary goods increased by 10%.

    So when you hear inflation fell it doesnt mean that prices actually decreased. all it means is that the RATE of change of the prices decreased compared to 12 months ago. In order to actually get a price reduction the economies need to strike deflation but central banks will never allow it because it leads to stagnation.

    However there is actually a very small actual decrease in prices as it seems. The harmonic index of eurostat shows a 0.43% drop compared against 2015.

  4. In the last year we’ve gotten used to it but looking at the previous 20 years this is just insanely bad.
