  4. Yes they’ll concentrate more troops on our border, that’s the same news we got last march. Too bad they won’t be able to do anything as long as they keep hitting their heads into a pine in Ukraine or order a larger mobilization.

  7. The same threats have continued for decades, so nothing new in Finland. Annual airspace violations and cyber attacks. Russia has always kept us on our toes.

    We have bomb shelters for all Finns and shelters for the majority of the population in case of russian a nuclear attack.

    Now we have no reason to hold a contract which has been void anyway.

  21. This is not a new threat, this sounds almost word-for-word exactly the same threat as Lavrov has made previously duing the NATO accession process. It’s probably one of these repeating bulletins, like 3rd thursday of each month they release the same threat regarding NATO.

    To an outsider Putin&Co. appear much the same as North Korea’s pudgy dictator. Loud-mouthed, not to be trusted, a buffoon constantly yearning attention. Nobody is looking to attack these countries, because it simply isn’t worth it. NK doesn’t have anything, and what Russia has, before recent events pretty much everybody has been content to trade for it. With trade comes prosperity, war yields pest, famine and misery to all.

  29. They already sent the mobilized brigade on the eastern border which was aimed to attack/defend Finland to Ukraine and it got annihilated. I guess they need to patch things up. And btw, thank you Ukraine for that!
