if you had any honour you would resign because you fail to control COVID and flu overload the NHS and this has caused avoidable excess deaths. You failed in your first duty to protect the lives of the people of the UK.
Ah, the benefits of a conservative government for 12 years.
>estimated around 4,000 more Brits died than normal towards the end of the year – flu, Covid, hospital, ambulance delays blamed
they should put the morgues in gents + old ladies clubs around the country
would that knock some sense into the pearl clutchers or would they blame Corbin ?
Aren’t we still pretending all is good and people aren’t dying in insane numbers?
The ugly truth about Tory greed, the working class is being flogged and dissected and the greatest healthcare model the world has ever seen is being burned to the ground, because a few quid on contracts might be had in the process.
As Irishman with a British born father and family up and down the UK this all feels like a gruesome drink driving ad and Rishi is at wheel after 25 yaegar bombs.
Who else read this as ‘temporary Mosques’ and couldn’t figure out the connection
When does something get done about what the Tories have done to the NHS.
This story seems a little suspect. Deaths in November and December were on trend. Where does the 4000 figure come from and what period is it referring to? The temporary morgues do not appear to be unique for this year either.
4000 isn’t statistically relevant when you consider 690,000 died in 2020.
Now if you die the queue for a funeral is about the same length as the queue to get into A&E
Given that we have an ageing population isn’t it to be expected that average deaths will start increasing anyway?
This happens almost every winter and has done for years, all hospitals have a contingency plan.
