Damn, sounds a sorry case all around especially if she was let down with them.
Still even if this does go all the way I can’t imagine she’s going to win. If the police concluded their just wasn’t enough evidence to proceed, then considering the nature of the crime their sadly probably wasn’t.

Sounds very much to me like she was given the opportunity to provide evidence and has declined. At that point, there is no evidence.
She was twice interviewed by police and twice did not say she was raped. Not really sure what the police are supposed to do at that point? If someone doesn’t make an allegation then there’s no crime to investigate.
Can’t comment on this case but I know so many women who have been failed by the police when reporting domestic violence.
My sister’s partner kicked and stamped on her in the street and it was only a neighbour calling the police because they saw him trying to drag her back into the house that saved her life.
Police didn’t prosecute him even with witnesses because my sister had gone to his house that night and they’d had a row and they didn’t think she made a sympathetic enough victim. She’s permanently deaf in one ear and he smashed her front teeth out. Wasn’t the first time he’d done it either or the first time she’d had him arrested. She wasn’t even the first partner he’d beaten. He will kill someone one day, I have no doubt in my mind about it and every chance to stop him will have been missed.

How suprising, the Met Police aren’t doing their jobs YET AGAIN.
Truly, truly shocking.
It is a completely terrible situation for “Emma” and she went through a lot.
What I don’t understand is why is she not going after the ex husband in a civil court to seek justice? Why only Met who are a secondary cause for the trauma caused?
I suspect this case is being publicized by the law firm with the intention to test the water for a potential class action.
