  1. These technophobes are going to have kittens when they realise there’s work underway to deliver 5G to mobile users from low earth orbit satellites. I’m not sure even their tinfoil hats will shield them then!

  2. Hypothetical question to those who mock the idea of potential health dangers;

    If there was a potential risk, or one was discovered in say 10 years time, do you think the industry/governments would ever admit it given this is a trillion dollar investment/reward?

    Also, why are we wasting money on this when we still rely on fucking copper cables? We should invest in fibre to all homes and businesses, and it should be done yesterday.

    EDIT: I know how 5g works. It was a hypothetical question. Enough with the ‘acktually’ science lecture.

  3. It’s almost like it’s of benefit to certain foreign states to disrupt their rivals infrastructure upgrade rollouts in the name of “legitimate concerns” despite them being tested safely for decades.

  4. I wonder what % of these protesters drive their kids the 2km to school and then sit in the car-jam with their engine running…

  5. I thought the government recently changed the law allowing telecoms companies to install 5G masts without having to obtain planning permission?
