It’s a very handsome coat all the same.
In all seriousness, Galway on the label might be a slight bit of a misnomer. In all likelihood it was Donegal tweed (an are famous for it’s tweed back in the day), and the line/range which the garment came from was called “Galway”. As per my hand loomer friend sitting across from me here in the bar. She also said it looks like Donegal tweed too. Not very scientific I’ll grant you.
