Hello there!

I’m trying to purchase IC train tickets from my country (Italy) on [cp.pt](https://cp.pt), but it seems impossible to complete the purchase, after asking the payment details the system quit with a “system failure”.

>Falha do SistemaCaso já tenha efetuado pagamento, verifique se a operação foi concluída com sucesso no histórico de viagens no myCP, a área “os seus bilhetes” na APP CP ou ligue 808 109 110

the support chat told me:

>In the transaction registered in our sales system is pending and the ticket hasn’t been issued yet. The situation is pendent and we don’t know if the ticket will be issue or not. Please wait around 20 minutes and check your Inbox and Spam box of the email adress you wrote to receive the tickets

… i’ve encountered a bad moment, or is it always that problematic ?

  1. Hello! This may be due to varying causes.

    In my case, I have received this error many times when purchasing and my VPN or adblocker/cookie&tracker blockers are turned on.

    Secondly, I would try to clear the browser cache as well if you don’t use any software that alters the network/internet connection.

    The third instance would be that your card may be rejected due to fraud protection by your bank (maybe an out of character purchase triggered a fraud response?), due to it not having 3DSecure enabled as required by many EU countries and EU banking transaction systems, insufficient funds…

    You could try fixing the above 3 points, the third would involve dealing with your card issuer.

    There is also the official alternate method of purchase, authorized by CP – Comboios de Portugal, using the website/app called Omio.

    It is an app/website that aggregates flights, busses, and railways for the specified route/date clmbination, and has made a formal agreement to sell tickets on behalf of CP.
