  1. How were deliveries of goods managed in ancient rome? I know they didn’t have shopping or whatever, but were there address blocks (e.g., 12 Hadrian Way) if a friend wanted to come visit without you pulling them along?

  2. These houses wouldn’t be that much out of place in our modern times, just need some modern appliances.

    And from the excavations of Herculaneum and other places we know these aren’t just romanticized pictures, they really had stuff like this.

    Imagine if they had developed the steam engine…..
