I must say, I like this. Surely we can come up with a story to fit this one into our pantheon of classical Belgian heroes? Didn’t this guy hang with Ambiorix or something..?

Once a normal lion living in the African savannah, our Belgian superhero was imbued with extraordinary powers during a freak accident involving a rooster and a genetic experimentation facility. The lion was exposed to a rare serum that fused his DNA with that of a rooster, granting him the ability to grow magnificent wings and fly.
With his new found powers, he felt a responsibility to use them for good and decided to become a superhero. He left his pride and home in Africa and moved to Belgium, where he could use his powers to protect and defend the people. He uses his speed and strength, enhanced by his lion DNA, as well as his aerial abilities, thanks to his rooster wings, to fight crime and injustice. He became known as “Leo the Lionwing” and is a beloved hero throughout Belgium and beyond
