Support for Fine Gael drops four points poll suggests

  1. Only 4 points and still at 19% in one of their shadiest weeks. In two years time we will be saying hello to another FFG government plus whichever left leaning minor party gets promised ministerial positions in the department of culture.

  2. Let’s see if this gets to the level of giddiness on here when the last one was posted that fell within the margin of error for FG gain and SF loss

    Bet it won’t

  3. And FF support went up 4. So its just just a technicality. I said it with their recent rise in the polls too. Week to week these polls are kinda useless. You need to look at them over months and see the trend.

Here is a link to the end of 2022 report which has graph of the last few years results on page 12 and it basically just seems like FF and FG are trading support back and forth right now month to month but both gov parties suffered heavily since COVID and the various crisis’ since.

  4. 49% for the government in the teeth of a cost of living, housing and health crisis bodes well for their chances of re-election in late 24 or early 25.

  5. Doesn’t matter, since they’ll still be in Leinster House. You won’t get rid of the Blueshirts that easily. Especially when their Loyalists have anything to say about it.

  6. And FG still haven’t copped that Varadkar is almost universally reviled. He’s going to cost them dear. Good fucking riddance.
