  1. Stuff is getting expensive, no way we can deny that, but Nurofen? That stuff is something like 2x the price of Ibuprom for exactly the same drug, that one item is probably around 1/8th of your entire bill. It sucks that stuff gets expensive, I agree, but please buy local products where you can because not only is it often cheaper, it’s also supporting the Polish economy more.

  2. Not great not terrible. I can feed myself for 150 zł per week but I’m not eating a lot of meat and spend 1-2 hours just for cooking every day. It’s manageable but still not awful.
Also why 3 cans of peas? Lmfao it’s so random

  3. Don’t show eggs to Americans, they are sensitive about them right now.

  4. Not the best groceries planning imo. Idk if you’re cooking at home, but for this price you could get 1-2 packs of pasta/rice, some sauces that are enough for 2-3 portions, and much more veggies. Plus other stuff to make it through the week. Also, soups in Biedronka are super affordable, tasty, and are a great extra for lunch. Much better than these sad tortillas 😉

  5. I mean not to preach cause eat what ever you want but with a little planning and cooking you could have better food and cheaper.

Especially that zero coke is bad for you

  6. these things look so random lol – what are you going to do with these?

  7. Remember to mention the shop. I’ve bought Burn energy drink, a small hot dog and marlboro gold in Żabka and paid 30 PLN. Big grocery shops are much cheaper than Żabka or Carefour Express and some people don’t notice that.

  8. Polish people: we’re not pill-poppers!
Also Polish people: groceries include ibuprofen

  9. Finally a person that eats real food and not just candy.

  10. Yesterday I spent 700 at auchan in preparation for a dinner party of 4. Quite sure 3 years ago it would be 350ish.

  11. I see a fellow biedronka shopper 😅 they give nice discounts on their app also.

  12. Don’t forget that pole with minimal wage has to work like 4/5h to buy it while it takes like 2h for Dutch, German etc.

  13. Clean your countertop you nasty animal. Why the fuck you making picture with so much trash around? Maybe you wouldn’t need air freshener in the kitchen if you would clean it from time to time.

  14. Idk how some people can spend so little on groceries. I am spending with my GF roughly over PLN 2K per month on groceries and I do eat outside during weekdays. She cooks her dinner at home. I feel like every time I go to Lidl I spend over PLN 250. And I do not feel like we buy posh food…

  15. I try to make my budget fit within 100pln. But ofcourse i have to accept no eating out and a change in diet.

  16. Many processed foods? Why not purchase simple yet more nutritious foods such as cabbage, potatoes, onions, beets, oats? You would get more for less, and be healthier. Read about how Poles survived the hardships of WW2 and their basic, meager diets.

  17. Looks like a fucking bounty compared to here. Not a competition and not trying to be shitty – if this is a struggle grocery trip….solidarity.

  18. 17 euro – 1h of work in Germany
79 PLN – 4h+ of work in Poland
