Another victory for the Tories in their war against British industry.
This seems to come around once every 5 years or so. Wonder how much we’ll be bailing them out for this time.
What isn’t on the verge of bloody collapse these days. I only hope that only overpaid executives lose their jobs not the ordinary workers.
just look at tory history of ‘conserving’ industry. the only reason the uk got an industrial revolution is because of the amount of money being extracted from colonies via FiNaNcE. and then we get the post war gutting of british industry and all that value extracted to off-shore accounts via, FiNaNcE.
the only thing tories conserve, is their own conduits for theft.

British steel really is just a bottomless money pit. Let’s just pour another billion quid in…
The steel industry has been on the verge of collapse for as long as I can remember, and I was born in 1950.
British steel keeps getting snapped up by foreign companies. It might be time to nationalise it if we really want to conserve it for the future. Now if we only had a party in power who wanted to conserve British industries and attempt to make them great again…
