  3. Going to football with the little one and then back to the house for banana pancakes. I skipped an opportunity for a session last night and happy now I did. Full Sunday ahead.

  5. Hopefully a quiet one here, have a pork steak to cook for dinner later. Never had one before so not really sure what to do with it.

    Kid has swimming but the Mrs takes him to that.

    Pudding sambos and coffee in a while, then walk the dog, light the fire and chill with sport and beer

  6. Congratulations to your daughter! Yeah, the black lace with the arse hanging out is a clear winner. Do they also have it in white so that ye can match? Ye could get “Bride” and “Mother of the Bride” embroidered on some gorgeous satin thongs. Really set off that coveted Kardashian theme. Bonus points if it’s available in a third colour for the bridesmaids.

  13. Up early cos the 16 year old eating machine that lives in my house is getting his first start in the scrum today.

    Had a good week in general. Off for 9 days in two weeks time, I can’t think beyond that. Roll on first wage of the new year.

  15. Up half the night with a really sore shoulder . I done it in dancing at a wedding on Friday. Brufen painkillers are the job.

    Honest to god I’d have been lost.
    Wrecked now but all good. Food Shopping and dinner and couch for the day

    Been saving for a digital camera last few months, think I’ve decided on the Fujifilm XE4, I’m gonna try pick one up tomorrow so very excited for that. Have a nice day everyday giddyup

  17. Planning to do a big reset. Clean, reorganise, groceries, meal plan, to-do lists, all that ‘get your life together’ shit. Hoping that maybe it’ll lead to a marginally less stressful week. Maybe I just have notions. I’ll soon find out I suppose 🤷🏼‍♀️

  18. Ran a nice 10k this morning. Now I’m at work for the day before I’m back in college in the morning. And congrats that one from SheIn is perfect!

  20. Bought myself a new thing, a shark cordless vacuum. So naturally… Vacuumed the house and am quite pleased 🙂

    Will drive to town to get some stuff, and collect some gifts at pokestops. Love playing PokemonGo but with living rural… It’s a bit annoying 🙄 can’t wait to get to the level where you can submit new pokestops (and hopefully whoever has to shrug their shoulders Yes for it does so).

    For the afternoon it’s boring knitting.

    My concerta dosage got upped on Friday and I feel…nothing of benefits or side effects 🤨

  22. Depending on your style and budget, saw a site called another day out for reselling wedding dresses, mother of the bride, prom outfits etc

    I’ve had lovely lazy morning in with the sidekick so far. Planned an easy day but one of the teenagers I volunteer with needs help with the CAO and an assignment. He’s disorganised and adopted a bit of an attitude of late so I’m veering between ‘life lesson for him, movie on the couch for me’ and ‘being a good but exhausted human’.

    A day of not very much for me and I’m delighted about it.

Drinking mugs of tay (5 since I woke at 9am) and mulling over ideas for a gravel/paved patio area for the back garden, and scribbling sketches to build a greenhouse for my better half; she got into growing veg during the lockdown and the small raised beds I built back then have gradually expanded into an allotment in the garden!

    Love this time of year; the worst of the dark, gloomy wet days of winter are (hopefully) behind us, so time to get some kinda shape on the garden.

  29. It’s lunar new year! It’s year of the rabbit for almost everyone but Vietnam. They are celebrating the year of the cat, so I’ll be messing with the cats here. I’ll be hanging up red decorations and in an Irish twist, put scratchcards in red envelopes. Hope to have a clothes clean up too.

  32. Netflix will start charging €20.99 this month for the Ultra premium tier. When I signed up years ago it was a tenner and had more stuff, might just cancel

  34. Been out for a hike in the pissing rain (or mist as you guys call it!) with a walking group. Great fun and looking forward (to sleeping on the couch all afty) the next one!!

  36. I had my last day of dieting yesterday, going to the gym shortly and will be taking progress pics after and having a nice meal to celebrate, I’m thinking steak and chips 😋
