Better days ✌️

  1. When they brought in read receipts, that’s when thing started to get worrisome and anxious!

  2. And before that they used to have no phones and times were simpler, life was smoother etc… etc… ad nauseum until the first cunts who made fire

  3. I used to be with ‘it’, but then they changed what ‘it’ was. Now what I’m with isn’t ‘it’ anymore and what’s ‘it’ seems weird and scary. It’ll happen to you!

  4. Ya right op our lives have improved drastically since this. I cant beleive people like you who dont understand what amazing implications technology has for us as a society. I bet your a shinner.

Only joking. Loved these phones back in the day. I remeber getting one like.they had in the matrix movie that flipped the cover down.

  5. I remember sometimes the messages wouldn’t send for ages though. People be replying to you asking what’s up.
Happened to me and my first girlfriend after we broke up.
Kept getting “u ok, I’m sorry” texts and while I wasn’t ok, I was replying “yeah I’m grand…is what it is…let’s just leave it for now”

None of my texts delivered though until 3am in the morning after a few days….I looked mental and her big sister called me to say to “not contact her again” tried to explain but it was all decided I was a mental 😂

  6. Hell, I remember the days when no one had computers or phones in their pockets at all. People would have to ring you at your house, and if you weren’t there (or couldn’t be arsed to answer), they’d just have to try again some other time. Then these fancy answering machines came along and people could leave you a message that you’d then feel obligated to respond to, and it all went downhill from there… :v

  7. We had a much healthier relationship with technology when texts used to cost 10p. Now it’s just constant noise.

  8. Phone broke a few years back and wanted something quick and cheap so picked up a similar phone (don’t think they make the 3210 anymore haha.)

No wifi, no email, just text and call for a few months until I finally bit the bullet and got another smartphone for work.

    But it was so chill.

  9. In a dangerous situation this mobile phone becomes a cold weapon. It’s as heavy as a morning star and you can throw in the face of thief to stun him while you run for safety.

  10. People like the OP will never be happy. The type of person that thinks it’s always worse now than in the past. In ten years time they’ll be reminiscing about the good ol’ simple times in 2023, and how lofe was better then. Completely forgetting how miserable they were.

  11. Thinking I was great because I had my 6th class crush’s number on my phone even though we never text apart from a “good luck with your confirmation tomorrow”

  12. No ”he left me on read for 5 hours, he must hate me😭”

I didn’t have a phone yet during this era(Imagine not giving your child a phone the second they can walk lol), but I do often feel nostalgic.
