I’m really curious what Norwegians call this bug since it has so many different names where I’m from based on where you live.

  1. It has many names, I grew up calling them Skrukketroll.

Other names include: Munkelus, benkebitere, beltedyr, skoppetroll, kaffebiller, kaffedyr, tusselus, moldokser, paddelus, munkebiller, kaffetroll, melkedyr, kaffelus and potetroll and likely several others.

  3. One of the kids in the kindergarten I work in called it a runketroll by mistake once and since then it has always been the first word that comes to mind when I see the little bugger🤭🙈 (but to answer your question, I grew up calling it skrukketroll)
