“It’s going to be brewdog looking for publicity isn’t it… “.. read article, “yup”
That’s not how things work though. Nobody will actually pay that for a pint so the price will never be that
James Watt is a cunt. He probably needs to charge this to cover all the compensation for abused former employees and buying back fake ‘solid gold’ cans he scammed customers with.
Fuck brewdog.
It’s not a warning for us is it?
Even alcoholics will still have a far cheaper supply.
Poor Mr Brew Dog.
Twat. Energy is only part of the cost of a pint, so it is not right to think of it as the whole.
It’s hyperbole to make a point, but the point is still fair. A lot of pubs and restaurants are going out of business because costs are extortionate and nobody has money.
Beer is very energy intensive
But the amount of organic waste they have they could easily subsidies their energy usage with bio gas systems
Gotta love the .50. If you’re going to start price gouging, just go to the full £28, it’ll have the exact same effect.
Brewdog claims to be carbon negative, and reliant entirely on renewables.
If they’re actually doing what they claim they are, shouldn’t they be effectively immune the impact of market energy rates?
> “This climate is incredibly challenging for BrewDog. Fortunately, we have the scale and backing to survive. Many smaller businesses aren’t so lucky.”
You just know that, if he actually gave one solitary flying fuck for those smaller businesses, his own business wouldn’t be so big in the first place.
Maybe somebody would pay that for a good pint… but not Brewdog pish.
James Watt from Brewdog. Christ, are we still listening to that massive prick?
Yes, there is a problem with the costs of beer increasing. Suggesting there is a reason it would realistically increase exactly in line with how energy costs increased during an energy crisis and that the price of a pint would be off the scale is hyperbole and probably not helpful.
Watt is seeding the ground for price rises after having to pay for lying about that Gold can.
I am looking forward to drinking a cheaper pint from him now energy prices are well off their highs. Sadly customer satisfaction is the least of his concerns
How do you know when you’re successful in the UK? The Reddit neets will hate you.
Oh no what will people do? Yea that’s right they just won’t drink in pubs you dicks.
