Labour calls for Nadhim Zahawi to be sacked over tax claims

  1. Take note: BBC never ran the actual story of how the chancellor tried and failed to avoid paying his taxes!

No. BBC are telling a story about the Labour party demands for ministerial accountability.

The BBC are not concerned about Zahawi’s criminal behaviour nor the Prime Minister turning a blind eye and tin ear to this storm in a tea cup. Anyone might think the BBC and theTories are in cohoots with one another!

  2. Of course Labour do. It’s their only discourse as opposition.

Now, let’s review Labour actions. Maybe in Wales, where the “titled” health minister has repeatedly broken the law speeding.

Also, how about devolved LABOUR nations not allowing their own covid enquiry, preferring to pigyback on the UK one despite “Hyer in Wales we do things different”

    Same mask, different features

  3. OK. I get it. Then let’s have all of our “representatives” be investigated for their Tax “doings”

Let’s make it transparent to all.

  4. I can understand Labour calling for… well, any of the Tory cunts to resign, but I don’t understand why Headphones Rayner is demanding clarification from HMRC on the issue.

HMRC. Does. Not. Discuss. The. Taxes. Of. Anyone. Ever.

This is the law, as she well knows.

  5. Tax is complicated. In fact too complicated, the UK’s tax code runs to something like 11,000 pages. It’s why there’s an entire legal industry that advises on tax. It’s perfectly possible – and common – to have legitimate disagreement with HMRC over interpretation of the code, and hence what’s owed. If that’s the case here, then no issue. If on the other hand it was a deliberate attempt to try and avoid what was owed then absolutely he should go.

  6. Did Sunak deliberately not wear a seat belt to act as a dead cat for this cunt?

Anyway, he’ll be a hero in the eyes of Tory voters. They aspire to this kind of thing because they think that _someone else_ should pay taxes to fund _their_ roads, services etc
