  1. She should be sentenced immediately to three years but we all know nothing will happen to them. Expulsion should be the least of the consequences that they both get. The fact that she’ll not suffer any consequences is what makes this feel so awful.

  2. I not really the point but “Waid Academy in Anstruther, on the Fife peninsula north-east of Glasgow on Monday.” Is Glasgow the only reference point people might know? Surely North of Edinburgh, South of Dundee or near St Andrews would have been better descriptions.

  3. The clip was five seconds long, and from what we saw, just looked like an average school fight. Why is this news? Not saying school fights are good. But they certainly are common.

  4. Did the other girl steal all her clothes or something? Looks like she’s clad head to toe in Spanx.

  5. Surprised none of the other classmates clubbed her summit, or at least dragged her off them, I’d have been in there like a shot and I’d like to assume others would be too

  6. 23 years ago when I was in year 10 we had a series of 4 fights between 2 lads every lunchtime over a week. On the fourth day one of the boys brought a ball and chain in and when he swung it the spikes got embedded in the other lads leg. Most days at least a few kids in class would try and stab each other with compasses without the teacher knowing. One day an ambulance got called cos a lad got thrown through a window and the glass cut an artery in his arm.

Schools have always been violent places, they’re full of hormonal teenagers with difficulties managing emotions and anger. Lets not make out like the world has suddenly turned feral.

  7. When I was in school 20 years ago this was an everyday occurrence. Kids fight. Its hardly a big deal and its certainly nothing new.

Hell, we’d have an ambulance at least once a month, twice for myself, kids have always been feral.

  8. Permanent brain damage no question if you haven’t taken any trauma to the head you don’t have a clue but explosive impact like this I wouldn’t be suprised if that’s 10 years off her life right there, not self defence only a lack of self control but thats the Scottish way right 🤣

  9. We had two fights yesterday. One had a boy end up in hospital (previous brain injury thanks to another fight) One had a girl in A&E. All filmed and posted all over tiktok.

  10. She looks like she’s dressed to go out clubbing not school, do kids not have a uniform these days? In my day that would have been a immediate expulsion and the police called, we had fights at our school but no one kicked anyone in the head. Kids are crazy these days.

  11. Why is this news? Its horrible aye, but fairly fucking tame compared to the fights when I was at school in the 90s.

No weapons and no mates jumped in to stick the boot in or anything.

I’m not saying this is fine but surely fights like this have always happened? Teenagers are unempathetic we aresholes.

  12. I’m sorry no one is going to mention the other kids just sitting there doing nothing? Wtf is wrong with people?

  13. I can’t help but think it is something in our nature that makes us want to burn the school down.
I mean, do students on the continent have these sadistic impulses much?

  14. What I don’t understand here is why the other students aren’t reacting at all to the violence – would if not be very disturbing?

Also, we hear regularly about the difficulty schools have in covering energy hills, which presumably must mean that the average school in January must be quite cold. Yet the woman who is the aggressor appears to only be wearing one layer, with both arms and stomach exposed.

Which begs the question – has the video been doctored in some way, or taken from a long time ago in say, the summer?

  15. i remember once being stangled till i was blacking out. also ending up with stitches on my face and leg. there were no consequences, because, aww, they’re just ickle children whose brains aren’t developed till they’re 25. teenagers are NOT children. they’re the same size as adults, they’re sexually mature. they murder each other, and adults. they verbally sexually abuse teachers. i was sexually abused by a 15 year old when i was under 12. not as bad as rape but some one over 18 would have gone to prison for what he did to me. teenagers need to treated as young adults, responsible for their actions, and not infantilised and excused as their pathetic over indulgent parents would like.
