What Europe would look like if all the ice melted- Right folks, were moving to the Midlands. I hear athlone has a lovely few pubs.

  1. The water level in the rivers would also rise, Riverside towns just as bunched as coastal. Also much more humid climate and water vapor is a greenhouse gas. We will be subtropical

  2. Athlone will be fucked as the level of the Shannon will inevitably rise too. It’s more likely that we’ll all end up in Mullingar.

  3. Stayed in the Radisson Blu in Athlone there a few weeks back. Lovely room with a beautiful view of the Shannon. Don’t think I’d want to be swimming in it now.

  4. I notice that a lot of the area that Russian claims in Southern Ukraine would be gone except from Crimea – no wonder they want to hold on to it.

  5. The Cliffs of Moher are gone but Cork City is still there. Ya I don’t think this is accurate.

  6. The ice in the water that melts would not increase the water levelas the same volume of water would be created that the ice displaces, unless I’m missing something. The ice on land that melts; such as Glaciers, would would lead to rising sea levels when it runs into the sea.
