Aren’t we already one of the safest countries in the world for road deaths?
And I certainly don’t think we’ll get 0 road deaths by 2050. That seems like a pipe dream to me.

If anything else killed as many people a year as cars do, there’d be an uproar.
I’m constantly shocked at how many people I see outright breaking the law while driving.
As for people saying it’s impossible – I’d rather see an ambitious target that might not be reached, than not even trying.
