  1. But their sectarian songs like Build my Gallows, Fathers advice, The Famine is Over etc are all ok? The funny thing is most unionist songs are copies of the Republican version with new lyrics

  2. What does raglan road have to do with this?

    Is that not just a song about falling for someone cold and distant?

    So confused that I totally misunderstood the song all these years

  3. I’m Irish so I should know this, but, why do some people from Northern Ireland view themselves as British, when they’re not from a part of Britain?

    Britain = England, Scotland, Wales

    United Kingdom = England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland.

    What am I missing?

    Also, “Ulster is British” is forgetting that 3 counties of Ulster are in the Republic of Ireland. Donegal, Monaghan and Cavan are certainly not British, or UK.

  4. Part of me thinks that it has to be a pisstake referring to sectarian while using the word Fenian. But then again they wouldn’t be famous for having the barest minimum of self awareness would they.

  5. Those same people probably have a list of songs by gay artists that should be banned too… fucki g religious freaks

  6. Looks like a typical Dubliners play list. Although they’d toss in The Auld Orange Flute too.
