Any suggestions on how to get this shite off my car?

  1. Worked for my aunt who owned a sign company and had to take about a million stickers of vans. Hairdryer or something similar with more power and a hard plastic scraper is the way to go

  2. Did this recently enough on my own car, used a hairdryer briefly on an edge then a sharp flat knife (a penknife for me) to lift it off the screen and then pinch and pull.

  3. Heat it, peel it, almost any solvent will remove sticky residue, just don’t get it on the paintwork

  4. Just peel it off. Use a plastic card to help lift it if it doesn’t go with using your nails. Usually the muppets order stickers with the wrong glue and leaves muck behind. Label remover works well.

  5. hair dryer and Stanley blade

Use a Stanley blade to just get the corner up and pull off the rest

use isopropanol to get rid of the adhesive.

  6. Drop it back to the garage and refuse to accept it until it’s gone. Same with the things around the registration plates.

  7. I can’t stand dealer stickers on cars.

Why should I be free advertising for them? Not to mention looks mank.

Last 3 times I’ve bought a car, I explicitly told them to remove the dealer sticker before I picked it up.

Low and behold, it was still there each time.

I made them take it off there and then.

  8. Whatever about a sticker, one garage I used to take my car to (Alfa Romeo: 20 odd years ago, not many places had the equipment to service one), used to remove the back number plate holder, and change it for their branded plate holder.

    It was infuriating.

  9. Fucking hate dealer stickers and plate surrounds.

Heat gun/hair dryer so you can lift up the vinyl stickers then wipe off the glue with petrol/white spirits.

  10. Bring it back and ask how much they are going to pay you for advertising on your property. Nothing, then remove it please
