I’ve read a decent amount of this young lady’s blog and it’s insightful, well-written and ultimately heart-breaking.
The infuriating part of these stories is that by now, we’ve probably accumulated enough collective understanding of psychology, psychotherapy, drug therapy and treatment paths in order that people like Beth *should* be able to overcome their issues and a live rich, fulfilling existence. Unsurprisingly the issue as always appears to come down to the limitations of what mental health services can afford to offer.
