The article starts by explaining how Turkey got there, and where it could end if nothing is done to avoid it.
Its conclusion is to say that only Biden, our Saviour, could solve this situation.
I’m extremely concerned by how US interventation seems to be the new european doctrine. We don’t have to choose between fascism and the US. We can, we should make our own path.

Ekrem İmamoğlu’s mayor of Istanbul arrest was the biggest red flag of a deteriorating democracy yet, he was sentenced over 2 years in prison for insulting a politician (he had done this years ago as well and they did nothing back then). This is an absolute disgrace.
At this point my only concern is that the scenario in which Erdogan loses the election, make a coup and in the chaos 2 million of “syrians” march towards Europe.
I am indifferent to the destiny of Turkey.
