> Mr Clarke sparked the row after he said £35,000 is the median nurse’s salary, and added: “I don’t believe people on an average salary of £35,000 a year need to be using food banks.”
He’s not wrong though.
He got reported to discord mod
That gov moderator/admin ain’t doing a good job tbh cuz they didn’t ban suella
30p Lee thinks everyone lives off weetabix. What a moron.
First, Lee Anderson is a complete twunt and he’s just showing himself up here by seeming to miss the point that his employee is on more than the average salary yet can still only manage to rent a single over priced room to live in. It shouldn’t be a surprise that people in similar (even higher) salaries who have kids struggle to get by in big expensive cities.
Secondly, the Labour MP’s reaction is ridiculous. This nonsense about “even if she agreed”. What if it was her idea – she is working for a detestable Tory so why can’t she be every bit as bad as him? What if she’s actually a grown up who can make her own mind up, or are young women not capable of that in Dawn Butler’s opinion!?
The girl is from a rich family as well, went to a £20k a year school apparently.
Failed to tell the whole truth about Katy. She rents from her dad…..
I feel sorry for his constituents who live in poverty, and for the rest of us for having his vote and voice made to be relevant.
Lee Anderson is a prat . He was caught pretending to talk to a voter in Ashfield on camera, but it turned out to be his friend ([Lee was caught talking without realising he had a mic on](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LmS9CzAY_s)).
He also said social housing “nuisance tenants” [should have to live in tents in a field and be woken up at 6am to pick potatoes and get cold showers](https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-2019-50474572). The fuck?
They talk about budgeting when these fuckers get 80 grand a year & still have to claim expenses. Shower of taint sucking shit licking fuckwombles
I know this is mostly about nurses but there’s also the fact that he’s bragging about how little he pays his staff.

And of course, it turns out that she’s the [daughter of a wealthy couple](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11654101/amp/Lee-Andersons-parliamentary-aide-attended-33-000-year-private-school.html) and went to a school that costs more per year than she now earns & her last job was an unpaid internship… almost as if she’s not taken the job for money to live on rather than career advancement. Exactly the same as a nurse trying to feed their kids.
> The Tory MP has repeatedly attracted controversy on the subject after he claimed that poor people only food banks them because “cannot budget”.
Did i have a stroke or is that really the second paragraph?
