  1. It is the only brand for people with food allergies in dairy and soy which is underated. At least the packages that are sold in Greece

  2. This is the brand we usually buy. It’s good quality at a good price, and we stock up when they have discounts.

  3. I’m not crazy about Melissa, their pasta is mediocre, Misko (another Greek pasta brand) is by far superior but also more expensive.

  4. Melissa is the brand of a company called Melissa-Kikizas and I think it’s probably the biggest pasta producer in Greece. The “Food service” type you bought is just their professional brand, which is targeted towards the HORECA market (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafes) and they are usually big bags.

  5. Yeah theyre pretty good
Most of the time tho in greek packagings they tell you to boil them for much more than you should if you want them al dente so make sure to check that out if thats how you like them

  6. There are videos on YouTube that tells you what you should look for when choosing a quality pasta, typically when the color is this saturated yellow, tells you the quality of semolina used is cheap and the time spend to dry was too fast and abrupt.

  7. that brand is known for pasta and you can find it in most supermarkets but the package looks kinda old
