Child sentencing practice ‘crying out for legislation’, judge hears in Urantsetseg Tserendorj murder case

  1. He stabbed someone to death ~ surely we can do better here than a suspended sentence?

Living in a modern society is a privilege and not the norm that’s something kids in this country yet to learn.

  2. This case makes me so sad. It never seemed to get the attention it warranted, I think due to Covid. The poor woman just making her way home from work and some fucking little scrote stabbed her in the neck :/

  3. I remember in this case the judge said something to the effect of “the perpetrator had no intention of harming the victim.”

He stabbed her in the neck? I don’t know what the legal definition of intention is, but I’m also doubtful that the amount of lenient sentences we see has as much to do with legislation as this judge thinks
