If I understand correctly you’re (or the article) saying people that worked their asses of and earn a lot of money should pay more taxes %wise than average earning people.
Everyone should just pay the same amount % of taxes. That’s just true and I have no comment on that.

Miljonair is tegenwoordig niet meer dan de bovenste laag van de middenklasse, gezien de waarde van geld op dit moment.
Eerste vraag die ik dan meestal stel: wat zijn hun condities? Twee vraag: en willen ze het geld alleen halen bij de superrijken want zelf zijn ze gewoon rijk? En derde vraag: waarom zijn hun belastingen dan meestal optimized om dat niet te doen?

They will hide behind the phrase ‘it’s legal’ and still hide their money from the taxman while investing in lobbies to keep the loopholes in place. It costs less to buy politicians than to pay their fair share.

Nobody should have the amount of money to have a supercar collection, a 150yd yacht or buy an island.
First reason is that people who gather this amount of money have a mental disease. They have more than they will ever need but they never have enough. It’s an obsession and an addiction and it becomes a problem when it takes precedence over the wellbeing of others. It’s not easy for them to see it as a problem or for others to have empathy over them not being able to.
Second reason is that the middle class family in the Western world is already consuming way more resources than the earth can provide. Having so much money means you’ll overconsume and waste for a whole village. We can’t afford to have these people.
Third reason is that they have no added benefit. They’re not supersmart. They don’t work superhard. They don’t do anything needed that only they can do. The only thing they will ever add is just a portion of what they have taken away in the first place.
Them running a company exploiting their workforce prohibits competition by a company that treats people like humans. They own 20 empty properties causing others not being able to afford just having a single home. They don’t go eat mussels at the sea or take a walk in the Ardennes, they go to some cabin on a beach in the Bahamas. They don’t eat at the local frituur but fly in a chef from abroad on their private jet or sometimes just a single dish.
Taxing the rich is not good enough. You need to take everything away until they stop having the fingerprint equal to hundreds of people. Stop the sickness and stop the idolisation of it.
It doesn’t matter if it makes them flee away. Nobody needs them. It’s a luxury to have a part of your population live in such luxury and it’s only a symptom of your empire running on the last fumes.
Belangrijke nuance, dit zijn geen Belgische miljonairs. België is één van de minst ongelijke landen ter wereld, dus eigenlijk is dit hier niet van toepassing.
Stel dat er ooit een wetsvoorstel komt om een miljonairstax in te voeren, dan ben ik wel nieuwsgierig naar wie daar allemaal tegen gaat stemmen.
Wat voor zin heeft het om de ‘rijke’ meer te taxen?
Ze gaan het toch weg steken in tal van boekhoudkundige constructies en daarbij gaan ze het nog eens eisen door prijzen te verhogen omdat hun kosten gestegen zijn…
Vind al die ‘tax the rich’ zo bullshit uiteindelijk is het en verdoken ‘tax the middleclass’…
Waarom gewoon niet de loonkosten verminderen zoals die patronage bijdrage.. zal juist beter voor iedereen zijn..
Zie je een miljonair als iemand die een miljoen gespaard heeft of een miljoen in waarden en eigendommen of iemand die een miljoen per jaar verdient
