I was holding onto my own ones to dispose of em right. Was sick of seeing people in work throw theirs into the smokers bin so I said to a few that I was building something (sure I haven’t a fuckkng clue) and would they mind holding onto them for me. Word spread fast. I now have an excessive amount. But I want to make sure they’re off the streets for good.
Can I just take it to the shop I bought my ones? They surely have a recycling policy with the manufacturer?
First time I saw one of those on the ground I picked it up because I thought it was a fancy lip gloss that someone had lost 😂
It’s strange that there aren’t collection points for them in the way there are for batteries or plastic bottles
I think they can be dropped off like batteries, my local shop has a return box for them.
Drop them into the blue wee boxes in most supermarket, civic amenities sites, eletric shops , the lithium batteries are removed for retrieval of the metals properties.
What shop do you buy these in I’ve never seen them before?
Well done you, for bothering to do this. The litter, and the waste of the battery materials, is appalling.
Wouldn’t you be better off buying a refillable one? Seems like an awful waste of material
