1. Fucking sweet – he was two sets behind when I heard the news today and I was mentally marking it down as a typical British “plucky but unsuccessful” battle. Damn fine way to end a damn fine day. He’s not going to win, but it’s good to see he’s still got the fire.

2. “Murray told fans: “Thanks for staying, but now I think we should all get off to bed” after the epic match against Australian Thanasi Kokkinakis finally finished at 4.05am.”

   Well done schedulers.

3. Good to see his luck has finally turned around. He has had a hellish few years and it is great to see him find some sort of form again, so let’s hope he can keep it up.
