Mainly true however a lot of people also feel punished by the government who are using a stick to punish them with, in the form of higher taxes, rather than a carrot to reward in the form of decent schemes to incentivise a move over to a greener lifestyle. It is especially annoying when there are large multinationals running data centres and using so much energy while receiving tax breaks.
That’s wonderful, but the meat of the issue and where most people diverge is what exactly that climate action is
It is easy to “support” climate action as a general concept, until the specifics start to impact you directly
There is in me hole! All for it until they realize it will actually involve something changing
Meanwhile over at the Greens:
*”Lets kill all the deer”*
A government too pathetic to regulate businesses can’t do much other than guilt its citizens and then they wonder why we don’t want them flying on private jets.
