  1. We have had a the EGEDAL 2.5 seater for 2 years nows and its grand.
It gets jumped on by two toddlers daily so it’s sturdy enough.
We have a couch in the sitting room that cost 4 times as much and I don’t see the reason why as the couch from jysk is just as good.

  2. Iv two bedside lockers from them and they’re great never had an issue. We just bought a TV unit from them at Christmas and it’s very solid. I’d buy furniture from them no problem.

  3. It’s not top quality, granted. But for the sofa I wanted, which a friend had, was literally twice the price elsewhere. Theirs had a minor bit that broke inside a year and was replaced no problem. Mine is fine. If you’ve kids it might be more of a concern cos you can kinda tell with the DIY assembly that they got a few vital screws holding it all together n they’d prob strain it in just the wrong place. On the plus side, if it does break I know I can bodge it back together unnoticeably.

  4. They do cheap light furniture and they do more expensive solid stuff.

Got a great chest of drawers off them. And some cheap crap bedside lockers.

Side note: their memory foam pillows are great.

  5. I haven’t got any but I was in one of their branches recently. I was shocked at the amount of badly assembled furniture on display. Either the staff couldn’t give a shit about putting the display stuff together properly or the quality is so bad that it’s not possible. I’d rather not take the chance that it’s door #2.

  6. I’ve had two office chairs from them over the last three years, they were grand.

Only reason I had to get a second one is cos the 6ft 4″, 18 stone, rugby playing, 16 year old eating monster, that lives in my house, broke his gaming chair and was borrowing mine until he broke that as well, the big bollocks.

We got him a fine sturdy gaming chair for Xmas, so fingers crossed mine will last a good few years yet.

  7. I bought a sofa bed as a spare, it looks amazing but it’s fairly poor quality

It would only be grand for the odd non regular use

  8. Got that couch in the picture about 8 months ago and it’s grand. We have it in the kitchen and it’s comfortable enough, I wouldn’t have it as a main couch though.

  9. We got 6 of their not-that-expensive dining chairs, and they’re… fine. One was a bit bent out of shape in the box, but it may have been the display model.

  10. I was going to take a look at that couch myself.

Their stuff isn’t as sturdy as Ikea in my experience but some of it is fine.

I bought an armchair from them that had to go back because the stuffing in the back seemed to be crackly plastic. It made an awful noise everytime you sat in it.

  11. Bought a chair foe 259 and barely lasted 2 years material ripped and withered super fast.

    Awful quality stuff altogether

  12. I probably wouldn’t go for their chairs or sofas, looking in store they feel pretty cheap with not much padding. I haven’t had issues with their other furniture though, I have a TV unit and a couple of side tables which are sturdy and haven’t given me any bother.
