Of course, because he is morally and politically closer to Morgan.

What a massive wanker. Labour can do one with this knobber at the helm.
Good old u/ClumperFaz lol! Don’t you see how this cuts both ways, and cuts deeper against Starmer than against Corbyn? Piers Morgan is toxicity personified, Starmer is a fool for this comment. He really has come out with some corkers recently.
However, I am pleased that Starmer has gone to Davos and hopefully it will give him some new perspectives. The view that the WEF is some kind of entity representing the interests of the wealthy is not helpful. It’s a *forum*, where people discuss things and the results of those discussions are made public, unlike the private board meetings which really control our system.
Strange to see the ‘supporters’ of a party celebrate and support the leader who was responsible for the biggest loss in how many years.
Distancing himself from a labour leader who given 100 years wouldn’t have been elected is a smart move. I don’t think aligning with piers is a good look though.
So smart and stupid all at the same time.
Point out on the doll where the old man hurt you, OP.
Don’t worry leftists, deep down behind all the rhetoric and purging he’s definitely one of you. Just vote for him, yeah? And don’t you dare make a fuss, you ingrates.
What the actual fuck – unless these quotes are taken out of context and it’s just because Morgan is a fellow Arsenal fan?
Piers Morgan is one of the most grotesque versions of a “journalist” one can imagine. I sincerely hope that Starmer didn’t mean what he said at purely face value.
Why has Corbyn become such a pariah? Does anyone really think he’s personally anti-semitic?
I can’t see Corbyn switching off and having a laugh.
Imagine wanting power so badly you’ll compromise every single moral principle you have and in public.
Naive politics from Starmer. He should have said “Can’t you arrange for me to sit between Ian Wright and Tony Adams instead?”.
The reality is we aren’t privy to everything that goes on behind closed party doors, and whilst I have to admit I’m probably closer to Starmer than Corbyn politically (although fundamentally disagree with both of them on a lot of issues), I have to assume that his dislike for Corbyn is founded in something much deeper than their political philosophies.
Also, I’d probably rather watch the football with Morgan rather than Corbyn too? I reckon we’d have a more interesting argument.
Being realistic, he has made massive efforts to distance himself from the anti semitic allegations against corbyn, while i dont see sitting next to him tantamount to emdorsing antisemitism, the media would go wild
