I grew up around there in the 1970s. Hasn’t changed a bit!
I thought Corbyn was doing dry January.
*I spend so much of my time explaining how football can be an opportunity to unite people*
BULLOCKS! First paragraph

*At around the 89th minute, a group of men behind us started chanting* ***‘we hate Tottenham’ and we all joined in,***

HOW is that Uniting anyone? Clubs and their supporters HATES each other.

ALSO, sucks but it’s more easy to remove non-Violent people than it is to remove the violent people.

What a scummy fucking pub. Hope people are ashamed to go there.
What’s the slur beginning with y they keep censoring? I keep thinking “yew” “yewish” “yews”, but I’m sure that’s not right.
Knowing the pub and area, it’s not very nice.
Shit pub and would question their choice to watch the match in there when there are far better pubs within walking distance.
Removing 2 adjusted adults is easier than 5 geared up geezers.
If anything, more for their safety. (Not justifying it).
Unfortunately football is tribalism and tradition, not all traditions should last and should be dropped.
Yids is a derogatory slur against Jewish culture and is also the nickname for Tottenham. I imagine that it’s more associated with a rival club than Jewish people but the fact still stands it’s not acceptable it today’s society.
Hopefully a dialogue has been opened and attitudes change.
Edit: Spelling
Disgusting and disappointing, but sadly not overly surprising. The whole “fuck the y*ds” thing has always left a nasty taste in my mouth, as an Arsenal fan
This has got to be bollocks. I have literally never heard any brit ever say the word Yid.
EDIT: Apparently its something specific to Arsenal. Incredible, literally never heard it in my life, but I don’t watch football.
