    It would be nice if the government cared about this in other situations, my passport says F as i have been transitioned for like 5 years now, but my birth certificate says m because getting a grc will take me at least another 3-5 years due to the waitinglists. This has also meant i’m basically locked out of claiming my dual citizenship to leave this god forsaken country because doing so would lock my gender on my passport and birth certificate to m.

    Funny how they only seem to care about this stuff when it requires applying effort to make trans people’s lives easier.

  3. A passport doesn’t have gender on it, it clearly states sex, M or F. And as trans activists keep telling everyone, gender and sex are different things altogether. So either sex and gender are different, or they’re the same thing. Can’t pick and choose to suit your argument.
