Entirely fair. He got away with those brutal murders for over 30 years, living his own life, while committing the other catalogue of dreadful offending.
Although my understanding is that he received an individual whole life term for each murder, which is very unusual – the only other person I can think of serving more than one whole life term simultaneously is Levi Bellfield.
The earliest video police found was 2008 – and I’d speculate the reason for that date would be highly likely due to camera phones and other digital devices not having been commonly available before then.
I usually like to hope that these kind of people spend a long time rotting in jail (e.g they can’t just nip out to the pub or to the shops), but this Fuller person needs to do the right thing and kill himself. Section 13 onward of the sentencing remarks makes for pretty hard reading.
