The judges that give these sentences out should be barred for life, first that 29 year old woman and now this teacher. Uk is a laughing stock for this stuff.

When are we going to start properly vetting teachers, and why didn’t his colleagues pick up on the behaviour or were they trying to keep it quiet. I think we’ve all heard stories of slightly dubious teachers who weren’t sacked from schools.

I think this is the first time I’ve ever seen a male teacher referred to as “having sex” with a pupil.
Just yesterday there was a thread about a woman pedo who didn’t go to jail. Apparently that would never have happened if she was a man.
Absolutely disgusting that rapists are able to get away with their crimes in this country even when found guilty. If there is going to be no punishment then why is it even illegal?
The criminal, the judge, the jurors(?) and the government should all be fucking ashamed. This duplicitous scumbag being free makes our children less safe.
