No. Paper is really not a big issue anymore and can be easily recycled. Constant online activity uses a lot more energy than making and shipping leaflets.
No, not at all.
most people i know already do these things and the ones who do not have a reason for not doing it.

there were seldomly people that did not like to safe money
Also fun how the green party puts the biggest leaflets in my mail
The amount of paper trash I have just from unwanted stuff in the letterbox is insane here in Switzerland.
What alternatives do you have in mind?
Its the *people* that need to safe energy, not the corporations! Its the same with our Co2 footprint! The *People* need to reduce it, *not* the corporations!

Perlen Papier uses steam from garbage incinerators soo, not THAT bad ig
Clown world is strong in this country indeed
I have a scenario for a short film.
Follow the ressources from the tree being planted and forest being managed, to the paper factory , to the marketing/editing depts of a press, to the pressing of ads and magazines , through distribution, postage, mailbox.
And then at the end of the day, random guy comes back from work, cleans his mailbox and trashes everything.
I really don’t see the problem. Every awareness campaign is going to use resources in some form, and paper will reach more people than digital, so what? Do you want environmental messaging distributed by telepathy?
Anyway the used paper is already from recycled and these ones will be as well as us Swiss like to recycle ♻️ so no big deal
I find it especially ironical because they still allow unnecessary illumination of windows at stores, skripts of stores etc…
It’s only the private housholds who suddendly should bot boil their spaghetti etc…
I boykot the whole campaign until the point where there are equal measures taken against industry and stores…
(Yes, 1/3 of the consumation is private, yes we have great potential to save some stuff, but the current campaign is ridiculous and blatantly ignoring the professional sectors)
The other point I have against this whole situation:
We have seen the conflict comming for at least 2 months, we had had almost a year before winter with the conflict where the concequences where known and it was told hwo bad it was, yet measures such as use 90% of industrial roofs or store roofs for solar production or cover parking spaces with solar where never discussed.
Instead they pushed trough and declared by emergency right that the Grimsel should be built up (detsroying an unique natural reservoir which is one of the last places left for those species in switzerland) and which arguabely doesn’t solve the problem at hand, only increasing the max production output rather than the baseline.
In my eyes this is an abuse of power and emergency rights via lobbying to enable the generation of more monmey true expensive high demand power rather than an actual attempt to solve the issue at hand, it doesn’t help increase the baseline production (Which they say is becoming a problem).
Yes we need all of them combined, baseline production, high demand production and energy saving, but the current campaign and the grimsel stuff is just a bashing of private households and abusing panic for monetary gain and getting rid of enviromental concerns.
Dont worry, if every household in switzerland got one, and if this was printed on 100g/m2 paper, only ~15 tons of paper got «wasted» on that.
I think that the best thing to do is to follow what’s on the flyer and much more, so they wont need to send them again

You wouldn’t understand nor read otherwise.
They had to send it by mail because they don’t have your fax number :-/
It’s not about saving resources, that is just your cheap headline. It’s about saving energy.
Exactly my thoughts too! I just find all these preaching about climate change hypocrisy!
I mean, if they really want to save the world, close the post, don’t use plastics in all these shops, why do we still use paper with the vignette in our cars instead of digital, why do we still print papers from the parking lots, i mean these are small things but it accumulates!
Just a hypocrisy though!
Yes. That’s how you save resources: don’t create more trash
They ensure that there will be enough trash to burn.
Ha, cute. The city of Winterthur did better and sent a whole mini book with how to be prepared for the worse (4 hours alternated power shortages to contingent the use of electricity is mentioned.. ).
Brilliant advice such as “stock your fridge with cold meals” because without electricity you can’t prepare a warm meal, “stock up at least 8 liters of water”, “make sure to have cash as cards will not work without electricity” or “you can actually store many food products outside the fridge!” 🤨
It gives legit cold war 50s vibes…
