Drug debt intimidation: ‘There is nothing they won’t do, pipe bombs, fire bombs, homes are vandalised’

  1. If only there was some framework or mechanism to take this very profitable market out of he hands of organised criminals

  2. I just hope those “higher up” scumbags cross the path of someone they shouldn’t and end up at the bottom of the ocean. I have very little sympathy for the “low level” scum, but targeting them won’t achieve anything.

  3. Legalisation will eliminate some but not all of these problems.
Kind o surprised how many users allow themselves to get so deep in the hole though.
I personally know and am friendly with a few heavy users, most know not to tick beyond their means as they will be wanting the same next week after paid down their debt.
They are definitely correct in the assertion that people who owe are pressurised in to storing/ running product or collecting debt for those they owe.

Sadly with peoples attitudes towards addiction and those affected the necessary steps to limit this issue are unlikely to be taken, as many write off these people as not worth the effort of investing in.
