I always wanted to visit Ljubljana and I finally got the chance! Romanian in Slovenia! Your guys capital came in 2nd place my favorite in this road trip. Only Prague I liked more. Other than that you guys beat Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest and Zagreb!

  2. Well to be fair. Prague is basically just out city center but bigger. I’d choose Prague before Ljubljana and I live here.

  5. It doesn’t really look like you liked it. It’s a rant about public transport in Ljubljana and a lesson about how all Balkan countries are the same and Slovenia doesn’t have traditional food, we just eat grilled meat.

    I was hoping for a more detailed description of the similarities and differences of the countries you’ve visited

  6. Slovenia is geographically located in the Balkan region, thats true, but its culture has distinct characteristics that set it apart from other countries in the region. Will explain you a few reasons why Slovenia is not considered to be a (culturally) Balkan country:

    First of all: Slovenia’s culture is heavily influenced by its Central European location and its proximity to Austria, Italy, and Germany. This can be seen in the country’s architecture, art, and traditional customs. Also Slovenia’s official language is Slovene – it has significant German and Italian influences. This sets it apart from other Slavic languages spoken in the Balkan region. Third thing I must mention is that Slovenia has a strong tradition of folk culture, which is characterized by its own unique customs, traditions, and rituals. These are distinct from the folk culture of other Balkan countries. And the last thing : Slovenia is a member of the European Union and the eurozone. It has a developed economy and high standard of living which is different from other countries in the Balkan region. Overall saying Slovenia is a Balkan country is *a no go.*

  7. I watched your video. You seem incredibly ignorant and unimformed. Half of the things you say about Slovenia and Ljubljana are inaccurate and it would take a simple google search to correct them. Maybe try to do proper research next time before coming to a foreign country and spreading misinformation about it online.
