BBC One interrupted by ‘adult’ noises as Match of the Day suffers error

  1. > BBC One appeared to be hacked on Tuesday night as Match of the Day was interrupted for several minutes by what appeared to be sounds from a pornographic film.

It was a cheap, disposable phone hidden on the set. Hardly the work of Mr Robot

  2. Huge respect to Kirsty Wark on Newsnight paying homage to that. Right at the end she takes a phone off the table in front of her in a nod to this story!

  3. I still get about 3 or 4 messages a week on WhatsApp featuring this very loud sexual moaning nice.

For anyone unaware it will usually be hidden in an innocent looking message.

As soon as you press play, or a few seconds in, this loud sex noise will blast out! 😬

Not great if you are in the company of others 🤦🏾‍♂️ or on a bus/train/plane, family dinner, doctors waiting room etc.

I once had to explain to my daughter, who was 7 at the time, that the video I had just watched on my phone was just a woman standing on an upturned plug with no shoes on.

My procedure now is to mute my phone before watching any videos from the group chats 😑

  4. BBC trying to laugh this one off neglecting the fact that it shows some extremely lapse security regarding their match day coverage not to mention how inappropriate it was to continue to broadcast from the studio even after they knew there was a problem. It’s all smiles and “as far as pranks go it was a good one” but 100% there are some very angry BBC executives and viewers out there.

  5. Some of the comments in here really make me feel this sub is full of 60 year old who regularly write into papers to moan about cars badly parked.

Harmless prank, was funny, completely unexpected, even lineker found it funny.

  6. Pundit: It was tennis I swear, that’s why they were grunting.

Pundit 2: Really? I’ve never heard Andy Murray ask to be spanked during a match before.
