  1. Ik snap niet waarom dit een nieuwsartikel waard is, is gewoon één van de zovele opleidingen die wij bij de FOD kunnen volgen, mindfullness etc hoort daar ook bij.

  2. As someone who has been a difficult sleeper his entire life, I can anecdotally say this is definitely true.

  3. Ah yes, another bigoted post about civil servants.
Petty views aside, sleeping disorders are quite common.
A healthy night’s rest is imperative for human beings to function well.
I have several friends that had difficulty sleeping, which is a difficult spiral to get out off in itself. You can’t sleep -> you worry -> you can’t sleep -> you feel worse -> you can’t sleep -> … .
On top of that it’s also usually caused by other reasons of (dis)stress, which also need to be resolved.
It’s sad to see us collectively agreeing that mental problems aren’t often taken seriously, but still dunk on any people that want to work on it. You’re literally part of that problem OP.

  4. Unfortunatly, sleeping a lot is not a guarantee to good health. If it was, I wouldn’t have serious medaical issues. (I sleep a LOT)

  5. DeepL translation:

Civil servants get sleep training: ‘Those who sleep poorly are more likely to be sick’
The federal government recently started offering its employees a free training course called “The Power of Sleep. “Because those who sleep badly are sick more often,” the FPS Policy and Support reasons.

Through a series of exercises, videos, testimonials and quiz questions, officials will learn how to get a good night’s sleep. “Participants learn what a healthy sleep rhythm looks like through this training,” it sounds. “You follow the training at your own pace and choose which actions you want to do when.” Course participants who get the hang of it can sign up for the follow-up course, “Letting go of your work. It’s possible!” But since places are limited, it is advisable to register on time.

  6. From personal experience your immune system is impacted when you sleep bad. Bad sleep is not necessarily caused by your job though, could be money issues, relationship issues.. it is not abnormal that an employer is offering this training: absent employees are costing them millions.

Another stupid clickbait article. They must have run out of Gert Verhulst stories or not yet have received their orders of their dpg owners to write about James Cooke or de slimste mens
