I don’t blame them, England as a whole has swapped it’s brains for what ever flavour of populism is popular this week. Even getting them away from the Tories is hard because we’ll all they want is someone Tory lite..
Once im able to im getting out of this shithole, i might even get myself up to Scotland even if it means I have to share a country with the Queen TERF herself.
Even if I wasn’t trans id be looking for the door because the direction this country has gone is truly horrifying.

There are plenty of other reasons to want to leave as well, even for those not part of a marginalized and victimized minority. For those who don’t understand what’s happening, it’s called Fascism. Deliberately induced stress and turmoil – cultural, economic and psychological – to forge support for authoritarianism. If you’re not part of the in-group, you are part of one of the out-groups and will be victimized. If you are part of the in-group, you are expected to participate or at least go along with the victimization.
It’s pretty ironic that people who call themselves allies of trans people are actively making their lives objectively worse by encouraging the spread of irrational fears.
It is deeply unhealthy to frame as “transphobia” the normal functioning of a democratic society in which different groups discuss how proposed changes to the law will affect them.
Wait until they realise this is one of the most tolerant countries in the world. They’ll be in for a nasty little reality check.
