Half of British Universities Push ‘Radical Progressive’ Ideas: Report

  1. Just a fun one seen recently. Apparently universities are Marxist for having “content notes” on their courses. Got a good laugh out of me.

  2. As soon as I saw it was from The Epoch Times, I disregarded it as bullshit. An extreme right American newspaper that’s funded by Fong Gong.

Falun Gong is a cult that originated in China who leaders fled to The US to escape religious and political persecution. The cult forbids homosexuality and interracial relationships. They believe mix-raced people are demonic.

I think common decency would be a “radical progressive” idea too them.

  3. >Norrie compiled a “radical progressive” league table of Britain’s 140 universities, with Oxford, Cambridge, and Bristol universities at the top of the table.

Crazy stuff indeed! It’s almost like there is a link between high academic achievement and progressive political attitudes.

  4. I know a professor who works in one of the top universities in London. He’s as liberal and progressive as you can get, and even he is utterly sick and tired of the new drivel they must do to appease the new terrorist students on campus .

He says it’s gone way way over the line

  5. I don’t want to go to university because i don’t want an ideology fiorced on me, i want to learn not preached to like how i’m the most evil person in the world etc

  6. Ah this old chestnut.

No, there is no “radical progressive” ideas being pushed in universities. Right wingers just *think* there is because they want to avoid diversity of any kind, yet in the real world they encounter the people they’ve been conditioned their whole life to hate, only to find out everything they’ve been told their whole life is wrong. Finding out they’re wrong makes them uncomfortable, so they concoct this elaborate conspiracy

Seriously, these guys need to get their heads out of their arses

  7. Ideas like maybe millionaires have too much money and minority groups (gender, sexuality, race or religion) deserve equal rights and respect.

If its those ideas half isn’t enough.

  8. >according to a new report by the think tank Civitas.

So another Tufton St. gang member, which even the Telegraph thinks is right wing doesn’t like cultural shifts, given that it’s the stock in trade for reactionaries is it surprising?

  9. It is hilarious that someone might think somewhere full of educators and young people wouldn’t be full of progressive ideas. That kinda the point of the place.
