Why are they letting people in if we havnt got the facilities to look after them. Fucking embarrassing.
Can we not just put a hold on any new asylum seekers entering the country until the issues are resolved?
Are they going to turn to crime now to support themselves?
That headline reads like it’s our fault

Should have stayed in England.
Why let them in to the country then if we know we don’t have the room. Why not just direct them back around through security and out the departure gate on the next flight to somewhere suitable to accommodate them.
All healthy men who are between the age of 18 to 60 from Ukraine are supposedly under a travel ban that requires them to stay and fight for their own country. Anyone who is not exempt should be flown straight back. I understand not all asylum seekers are Ukrainian but the majority are due to the circumstances and I genuinely empathise with them.
I’m all for helping people in need but common sense has to prevail at some stage lads it’s primary school logic at the end of the day; you can only fill a glass with so much before it overflows, no matter how hard you try it will only create a bigger mess that’s harder to clean up.
Thanks FFG!
“Last week, Minister Roderic O’Gorman warned of an impending accommodation shortage that could last until mid-February”
Errrrm 🤔
This is shameful. I can’t think of anything else to say.
Everyone up in arms over this… we’ve known about climate change since the 60s, we’re barely doing anything to stop it and it’s going to create so many asylum seekers and climate migrants that these will look like the glory days. You can talk about borders and changing laws to keep them out but when countries and entire continents become uninhabitable good luck keeping them out.
The situation we’re in now is a test run or a warning shot across the bow for whats to come.
Obviously sleeping rough in a country with a cold wet climate is more appealing than what ever they left at home
The government’s plan is working right? Eh right?
Our homeless numbers aren’t high enough so FFG decide to import some to bump up the figures.
Bodes well for the next 80,000 coming this year that I just read earlier
