Geopolitical situation. Even if no war would happen on our territory for the next 100 years being a neighbor of ultra-hostile Russia is enough to cause foreign companies to choose to invest elsewhere where the risk is lower and other similar events at the end causing us to stagnate economically or at least reducing our growth resulting in worse economical situation.

Widespread lack of moral values. Laziness, social networks, addictions, lack of willingness to commit to responsibilities. Weak, cowardly men that are incapable of serving in military and weak women that can’t renew generation leading to social security collapse.

Housing. Roughly 10 years ago venture capitalists started buying up and holding housing in the Netherlands , waiting to control a large enough portion to artificially increase prices. Worked great and nl housing market is a nightmare. Last I checked, same seems to be ramping up in Latvia too.

Elektrība un apkure, nevar vispār saprast kādu nākamo rēķinu saņems .. gandrīz kā loterija izskatās.
Rimi dārgāks nekā Holandē veikali
Uz sitiena nemācēšu pateikt, bet pašlaik vide, kurā topošajām ģimenēm audzināt bērnus, neizskatās pārāk solīdi.

Tas, ka Latvijas subredditā latvieši izvēlas, manuprāt, par biežu runāt angliski, bet ja nopietni, tad ģeopolitiskā situācija, recesija, kā ātri atsist inflācijas ietekmi, kas piebremzējusi ienākumu pieaugumu.
