Russian, China and US are the main antagonists, with terrorist states as the wildcards. Not sure any way out of it unless one party develops some technology that effectively owns the others or buys their support eg. Free cheap energy.
Unless the main superpowers form a strong union/start of a world government then we’ll always be under threat when there’s even two opposing superpowers never mind 3+ not including all the others with nukes.
Imagine working in the doomsday clock and telling the boss you planned on moving it back to something good like one o clock.
The boss would laugh, sit ye down, explain how nobody funds or donates to happy doomsday clocks.
You would then have to chose between complying to the corporate world or sticking to your guns and becoming a fighter for justice who will get a different lunch break time to everybody else in the office.
Hasn’t this been debunked as a publicity stunt? Doom and gloom! Just live each day as it comes and relax!
