King Charles ‘tells Prince Andrew there is no place’ for him at Buckingham Palace

  1. >The Sun reported that St James’ Palace, the most senior royal palace in London, may be an option for Andrew to move to.

He’ll be living out of cardboard boxes in no time

  2. Seven people die, and he’s king.

Or, William turns out to be an unacceptable wierdo, he still becomes king when his father dies.

It’s not an elective system, you get whoever turns up.

  3. I have to be honest, against all expectations, I think I like King Charles. He means well, and he is happy to break with tradition if he feels that is indicated. That’s a low standard, but maybe I will get used to him.

  4. “Listen Andrew, we’re going to let you live in this huge listed building with servants and so on, but we’re telling the press some guff to make it sound like you’ve been ostracized ok?”

  5. He’s basically being kicked out of his mum’s house that he didn’t inherit and being made to live in the guest house.

  6. King Charles, love him or hate him is no nonsense. He had a long time to decide what kind of king he would be. He is showing that now, and frankly, I can’t argue with his decision on Andrew.

  7. It is absolutely bizarre that we still find a monarchy acceptable. Who can rationally justify it at this point? It’s basic, on-its-face injustice.

  8. I mean he’s 62 years old, it’s probably about time he moved out of the family home and got a place of his own.

  9. Behind the sofa?

Andrew can live in luxury out of sight for the rest of his life. He has nothing to complain about. He might like being an active royal and having his ego stroked, however he has to accept that no one will want to have anything to do with him anymore. He’s in a position people would kill for and should give up on ever being in the public eye ever again.

  10. I dont get this, either he is guilty or innocent of the allegations against him, if demonstrably innocent then the discussion should be closed but if guilty then why these non-measures of ‘you are not welcome here’? it should be ‘you are under arrest’. There is no gray area on this.

  11. King Charles is doing the right thing. When the shoe was on the other foot Andrew did everything he could to have Charles’ ascension blocked with him taking over until William came of age all because of Charles’ divorce and marriage to Camilla.

If reputation meant that much to Andrew then he should have kept his dick and his friendships in more appropriate circles. Charles won’t bail him out should he dig himself in another hole of his own making. His reputation cannot be restored and those advising him otherwise are doing it for less than altruistic reasons. Money will make people say whatever you want to hear.

  12. I’ve liked having a monarch but as I watch England fall to pieces from abroad I am inclined to think it is hurting the country. The Monarchy supports the class system and giving the reins of power to a group of people who for the most part seem to put their own personal interests above those of the country.

  13. He’ll still live in conditions I’ll never see even if I am as successful and rich as I wanna be when I’m older

Man should be behind funking bars

  15. So when do we get our money back from when the Queen gave 12 million quid of tax payer money to shut that bird up. I hope that was a loan with interest that Andrew owes us.

  16. “A source told The Independent that Andrew is ‘desperate’ to redeem himself, but ‘does not understand the humility and penance he needs to show following the case’.”

It’s a good thing we’re not living in the 1400s or Andrew would probably be leading an army toward France to try to “redeem himself.”
