Jesus wept, it’s like a fecking Brass Eye sketch, only thing short is they didn’t launch them into space.
Damn, tragic stuff all around.
I suppose I get where this is coming from. But it certainly feels like a major oversight.
Part of me does feel this is partially down to the fact that no one’s willing to discuss any other solutions to this problem beyond incarceration or execution in this country though.
This is absolutely horrendous – I feel sorry for the poor child.
Hope the rapist goes to prison for a long time.
>The report said Matthew had been in a relationship with Ruby’s mother but when the pair separated he was given custody, along with her half siblings.
I’m guessing he was the father of those children? It is hard to see why the BBC are omitted that fact, other than to try to make the story seem even worse than it already is.
If he wasn’t the father, it means that authorities handed the kids over to the care of a random paedo who used to know their mother. In which case, that would surely be the main story?
Scrappy reporting.

>When the young girl requested a termination, a referral was made to child social services because she was under the age of consent.
>Ruby claimed that the father was a boy her own age but genetic testing later revealed it was Matthew.
Oh god, she didn’t get the termination.
A source said “this is the one thing we didn’t want to happen.”
And if you try to stop it you get arrested and not the system that allowed it to happen.
Jesus Christ, this is a disgrace. What causes a mess-up of such grievous proportions?
Council workers taking the pay and doing feck all as always
Council workers are useless, might as well put the system on a free for all and save their salaries
What do you expect! It doesn’t even shock me anymore reading these! (100% heartbreaking)
